Our Story

Lakeerain was started with one vision, and that was to propagate culture, our culture, worldwide. The vibrance of Pakistan and South Asia is a well of untapped potential - our goal is to combine the traditional methods with the modern urban landscape. The convergence of culture, tradition, and fashion is where Lakeerain lies. 

We use a multitude of sources, from pop-culture to traditional art forms as inspiration for our designs. Our ethos is rooted in releasing self-contained limited capsules. We take an idea and we create an entire collection around it. Modern trends and traditional techniques, that is the philosophy underpinning our fashion. Utilising local artists to create our visuals, and artisans to craft our pieces we construct our art. 

Sustainability is a huge commitment in our philosophy. We create only limited pieces to ensure waste is reduced, and we use leftover fabric to create our clothes to lessen our environmental impact. 

Lakeerain is not just about us, its about everyone who wears our pieces. All of you are a part of our community. You share in our vision, you help create our pieces, and you partake in our culture. As Pakistanis, we want to take our stories and shout them from the rooftops. Our culture matters and deserves to be seen.
